No bodies are alike so why should your massage be the same? Our Customized Therapeutic Wellness massage is client directed and tailored to meet your needs and concerns. Whether you are addressing specific aches and pains, have stress, looking for relaxation or maintenance you get what you need here. Kristi may use one or all of the following modalities: swedish, deep tissue, SRT, Bowen, oncology, and intraoral massage to enhance relaxation and well being. Insurance will not pay for Wellness massage as it is not medically necessary.
Sessions that are 60, 90 or 120 minutes may be full body or may focus on a particular section (ie upper body: back, shoulders, arms, hands, neck, scalp, face & ears). This treatment also includes aromatherapy in the face cradle, a refreshing eye pillow, steamed towels (as time allows), and water/beverage.
Also, available in 90/$165, and 120/$220 minute sessions.*
Structural Relief Therapy (SRT) - Kristi is a Certified Therapist "It's Like Magic, The Pain Is Gone" SRT is a non-invasive, advanced massage technique that stops involuntary muscle contraction, instantly increases range of motion, and dramatically decreases pain in the first treatment. SRT releases involuntary muscle contraction by reprogramming the jammed neurological signals of the muscles to and from the brain. SRT incorporates the principles of Muscle Energy Technique (MET) and fascia release.
Deep Tissue relieves tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body and strengthens sore muscles in problem areas while blending Swedish strokes to connect your body. This type of massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries.
Intraoral massage is the manipulation or pressure of soft tissue inside the mouth for therapeutic purposes. This technique can be helpful in addressing TMJ disorder, headaches, whiplash, and other musculo-skeletal problems (improving bite and chewing problems). Washington State Intraoral Endorsement received 2011.
Oncology (Cancer) is designed specific to the needs of people who are dealing with cancer and/or its treatments. The main focus is to enhance healing while “doing no harm” to people whose bodies are: dealing with lowered immune systems, at risk for developing lymphedema, stressed by radiation, chemotherapy treatment(s) or recovering from surgery.
Swedish is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Geriatric Massage is a form of massage designed to meet the specific needs of the elderly. It helps to improve blood circulation, relieve pain, and also increase range of motion. If you are elderly, geriatric massage can help you maintain and improve your overall health, as well as regain certain physical functions that have been reduced due to aging. In addition, since the elderly don't typically receive enough physical touch, this massage can also help alleviate symptoms of loneliness or depression.
This deep tissue/swedish combo massage is client requested and tailored to meet your needs. It relieves tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body and strengthens sore muscles in problem areas while blending Swedish strokes to connect your body. This type of massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Insurance will not pay for a Deep Tissue Wellness massage as medical necessity is not based on chronic or preventative care.
Sessions that are 30 minutes will focus on one or two areas of concern. Longer sessions (60 or 90 minutes) may be full body or may focus on a particular section (ie upper body: back, shoulders, arms, hands, neck, scalp, face & ears). The Pregnancy Wellness massage pampers the mother-to-be with a soothing massage to help alleviate discomforts experienced throughout the pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the reduction of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.

Indian Head Massage is the ideal treatment for helping de-stress yourself. This non-invasive treatment is given fully clothed so it eliminates some of the stresses faced by the first time client. It is also done on a massage table so you can fully relax and enjoy. This technique is known for relieving the symptoms of stress and tension. It focuses on upper back, shoulders, upper arms and neck. It also includes the face, ears, and scalp which can create tension headaches, eye strain, insomnia, and poor concentration.
Treatments include a warm oil application (but you may opt out). The oil is applied to the roots of the hair follicles near the end of the massage. Oil can soften the skin of the scalp, promote hair growth, slow down hair loss and create vibrant, shiny hair. If you choose the oil application, you will be able to pick the type of oil...coconut, sweet almond, or jojoba. It is best to leave the oil in overnight (with a towel on your pillow to minimize staining). Note: no shower facility in clinic...so you will leave with "wet looking" hair until you get home.
Kick back and unwind with a session to make your toes happy. Feet are cleansed, scrubbed, and then using reflexology massaged into total relaxation. Treatment ends with a hot honey foot rub and a velvety moisturizing body butter. Also includes a 1 oz. Shea Butter of your choice to take home.
